Our leadership team realizes we exist for the glory of God. We recognize Jesus Christ as head of the Church. We rely on the Spirit of God and the Word of God to lead, guide, and direct us and the rest of the church. We remember our role is to give oversight, to give the ministry of the word and prayer, to give strategic planning, and to give ourselves daily to Christ and count on His gospel of grace to make a positive and eternal impact as we seek to Love God, Love People and Live the Mission.

Donnie Patrick

Lead Pastor

Donnie Patrick is a native of Williamsburg, KY, where he met and married his childhood sweetheart, Debbie Jo. He is a graduate of University of the Cumberlands, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, graduating with a doctorate from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Donnie pastored FBC Paintsville for 10 years and Crestwood Baptist Church for almost 9 years. He began to Pastor MSBC in May 2017 upon sensing a call to return to his homeland and home church. He enjoys spending time with his family, taking long walks with Debbie, coaching high school football, being chaplain of the UC football team, reading books, watching sports, and being in the great outdoors.
